No matter what language you are programming in you will undoubtedly need JavaScript at some point in your life. There are plenty of places to learn JavaScript and I’m going to point you in the right direction. I have found that the best way to learn JavaScript, or any other language, is to jump in first and ask questions later. These tutorials will allow you to do just that.

Some of you may not think that you need to know JavaScript. Even if you know a higher level programming language, knowing JavaScript will benefit you. I know several major languages, but I still use JavaScript from time to time. Knowing it will enhance your skill set and allow you to do creative things in your programming.
